At Midwest Shooting Center, we are committed to providing you with a top-tier shooting experience using our state-of-the-art range equipment. To help you get the most out of our advanced target system, we have put together this comprehensive guide.

Step 1: Access the System
Upon entering your bay, you will notice a touch screen device mounted on the bay wall. Begin by tapping "Agree" to access the main screen and initiate your range session. This ensures you acknowledge and accept our safety protocols and operational guidelines.

Step 2: Choose Your Units of Measure
For precision shooting, it’s essential to choose your preferred units of measure. On the right-hand side of the screen, you have the option to toggle between yards, meters, and feet. Select the unit that you are most comfortable with to ensure accuracy during your session.

Step 3: Hang Your Target
After selecting your units, proceed to hang your target on the provided clips. Next, use the touch screen display to select a preset distance. This feature allows you to position your target at an optimal range for your shooting practice.

Step 4: Operate the Target Movement
Our advanced system allows for smooth and precise target movement. If at any point you need to stop the target, select the "Stop Move" button. This will immediately halt the target's motion. To resume movement, press "Stop" again to unlock the screen. You can then choose a new preset distance or use the jog buttons for a custom distance, giving you full control over your shooting environment.

Step 5: Adjust the Lighting
Proper lighting is crucial for accurate shooting. Our system allows you to customize the bay lighting to your preference. Tap the sun icon on the touch screen to cycle through different lighting settings until you achieve the ideal visibility.

Step 6: Calling for Assistance
Safety and assistance are our top priorities. If you require help at any time, press the "Attendant" button located at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. This will alert the Range Safety Officer (RSO) with a flashing light, indicating that you need assistance. Our trained staff will promptly respond to ensure your session continues smoothly and safely.

Step 7: Completing Your Range Time
At the end of your session, please ensure you return the system to the "Home" position. This helps maintain the equipment and ensures it is ready for the next user.

We appreciate your choice to shoot at Midwest Shooting Center. Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and professional shooting experience. If you have any questions or need further assistance, our friendly staff is always available to help.
