Do you do FFL transfers?
Yes, we do. Please have the dealer request a copy of our FFL by sending an email to your locations info account. Regardless of shipping notifications, please await a call from the MSC team to notify you that the firearm is available for pick up.
Notice
Midwest Shooting Center does not accept transfers through the mail from Private Parties. All transfers mailed into one of our locations must be shipped from another FFL Location.
Will you have staff to monitor the range?
Yes, we will always have certified Range Safety Officers onsite.
Can I bring my child with me to use the range?
Yes, children 10 years or older can use the range if accompanied by their legal guardian.
What can we shoot on the range and what is the highest caliber allowed?
You can shoot handguns, shotguns (buck and slug), AR-15s and rifles up to and including .308. Our 100-yard lanes in Lima, OH are all rated for up to .50 BMG.
How old do you need to be to rent or purchase a handgun?
Do I have to be a member to shoot on the range?
No, we are open to the public as well.
How much is it to use the range as a non-member?
It’s $25 an hour for a single person or $35 for two people to share a lane.
If you are a felon, are you allowed to purchase a firearm or shoot on the range?
No, under federal law, it’s a crime for someone convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor domestic violence offense to possess a firearm or ammunition.
Which location has the (4) 100-yard lanes and Dynamic Training Arena?
Our Lima location is the only facility that offers those amenities, however as a member, you get access to all MSC locations.
Do you allow outside instructors to use the range to qualify students?
Outside instructors are not allowed to use the range to qualify their students.
Is there a NFA transfer fee cost?
Any NFA transfer not from our Silencer Shop kiosk is $125 for non members and half off for our members. Any NFA transfer from Silencer Shop is free.
